In the contemporary when many ministers do not know the one whom they preach about, do the work with their own strength and act opposite to what they preach. It is imperative to take into account and empower especially upcoming ministers who will correct the wrong by firstly being discipled to be like Jesus Christ and minister like Him. I always advise upcoming ministers not to just jump into ministry, but get adequate preparation through training and mentorship. Preparation is inevitable if you want to become a lasting, vibrant and productive minister. Moses spent 40 years with Jethro as part of his ministry preparation, Jesus spent most of His lifetime in 30 years, preparing and used 3 years to fulfil His Ministry. I believe that lack of preparation is a major contributor to religious malpractices, pastoral Burnout and many resigning from ministry. About the Rector
Apostle Innocent Osei Poku is the founder of Christlike City International Chapel (C.C.I.C) in Takoradi - Ghana and the president of Apostle Innocent Ministries (AIM), headquartered in Ghana. AIM seeks to preach the gospel to the lost, rekindle spiritual gifts and restore hope to the hopeless. He is also the founder of Christlike Business Network (CBN) which purposes to empower Christian entrepreneurs with God's power for wealth through prayer and the word of God.
Apostle is a revivalist, teacher, and conference speaker whose ministry is characterized by pure word, prayer, and prophetic ministration coupled with healing and deliverance. He has preached in many churches across Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Togo, Cote Devior, and America, etc. He is an Author and the Rector of Chritlike Bible Institute international with 20 years experience in full-time ministry and has trained and Ordained many pastors locally and internationally. He is the W/R regional organizer for Global Church Fellowship International, headquartered in Florida, USA.
Apostle is married to Grace Mensah with three (children), namely Godless Godrich and Godgrace; and they make their home in Takoradi, Ghana.
